Fleas
Flea BasicsFleas thrive when the weather is warm and humid. Depending on weather, fleas, seasonal or year-round problem. Your pet can pick up fleas, where an infestation exists, often in areas frequented by other dogs and cats. Adult fleas are dark brown, the size of a sesame seed, and able to move quickly through the skin of your pet.
Adult fleas live their entire lives in your pet. The females lay their eggs within 24 hours after selecting your pet as a guest and produces up to 50 eggs per day. These eggs fall from your pet on the floor or furniture, including funds for pets in your area or indoors or outdoors where your pet happens to go. Tiny, worm larvae hatch from eggs and burrow into carpets, under furniture or in the soil before spinning a cocoon. The flea pupae sleep Cocoon "(inactive) for the week that adults who are ready to strike (or REINF) to your pet. The result is a life cycle of the flea from 12 days to 6 months.
ConsequencesYou may not know the risks and that your pet has fleas until their number is up to the point that your pet is obviously uncomfortable. Signs of flea problems range from mild irritation to severe scratching can lead to open wounds and skin infections. One of the first things you notice fleas on an animal with "flea dirt" – the black flea droppings left on the coat of your pet.
Fleas bite animals and suck their blood, young or small animals with flea infestations in excess may be anemic. Ticks

ControlPrompt treatment and removal of ticks is very important because it reduces the possibility of disease transmission from the tick to your pet. Remove the tick carefully with tweezers, grasp the tick as close to the animal's skin as possible and gently twist the tick free without it. After removing the tick, crush, avoiding contact with liquids, ticks can transmit disease. No case of the tick with alcohol or petroleum jelly, or call a hot game to crush it, as this resulted in increased saliva of the tick regurgitate into the wound, the risk of disease.

Ear mites

The risks and ConsequencesEar mites can cause intense irritation of the ear canal. Signs of infestation of ear mites include excessive head shaking and scratching of the ears. Your pet can go back to the point of the sores that bleed the ears. An ear discharge brown or black is often associated with ear mite infections.

Mange mites
BasicsMicroscopic mange mites cause sarcoptic mange mite, also known as scabies. Sarcoptic mange mites affect dogs of all ages, during any time of year. Sarcoptic mange mites are highly contagious to other dogs and can be spread through close contact with infected animals, bedding, or maintenance tools.
Risks and scabies ConsequencesSarcoptic building through the top layer of the dog's skin and cause intense itching. Clinical symptoms are common hair loss, rash, and crusting. Skin infections may develop secondary to the intense irritation. People who are in close contact with affected dogs may develop a rash and should see your doctor.
ControlDogs treatment of sarcoptic mange and drugs to kill the mites and treatment to soothe the skin and resolution of infection. Cleaning and disinfection of the environment the dog is also required.
Demodectic mange mites
BasicsDemodectic demodectic scabies scabies mite is mainly a problem of dogs. Demodectic Mange mites are microscopic, cigar-shaped and not very contagious. A mother dog, but the mites can go to her cubs.
Risks and ConsequencesLocalized demodectic mange tends to occur in young dogs as patches of scaly skin and redness around the eyes and mouth and, perhaps, legs and torso. Unlike other types of mange, demodectic mange may signal an underlying disease, and the overall health of your pet should be examined carefully. Less often, dogs young and old, suffer from a generalized form of demodectic mange and can show extensive redness, hair loss and dandruff, thickening of the skin.

Generalized demodectic mange (demodicosis), but can be difficult to treat, and treatment can only control the disease, but as they heal.
